Paci Addictions

I've finally decided that I'm the one addicted to the paci. It is so hard to watch Owen as we cut away at his precious little "orange." It really is such a comfort to him... and me. I guess as a mom you love whatever your child loves. We started cutting off a little from the end a week ago, and tonight I cut a little more. Owen understands that his paci is "getting older like Owen" and will one day be gone. But tonight when he asked why Chloie's pacis weren't breaking... I thought my heart would break. He is so concerned about his aging little paci friend. I hope we'll both make it through this difficult time. Oh my, if this is hard, how will I ever make it through the really tough stuff???
