A Year Gone By...

I hate to admit I forgot to get my camera out for Owen's 8th birthday... the phone seemed to suffice at the time.  But it got me thinking... how long has it been since I took some photos of my family??  Well, it would seem my last year has been one of "living in the moment!" I will call it so I don't get to feeling too guilty for the few memories I captured this past year.

So when I did dig out my pictures, I found the major holidays have been marked with pictures!

Though it was long ago now, I remember what fun we had last year decorating for Christmas.  The kids were old enough be somewhat helpful...

Grandma Peggy came to help make Christmas treats!!

And Chloie and Owen sang to us at the school Advent prayer singing concert thingy.... I forget it had a special name... Owen was very excited to be dress up and go to church to sing for everyone.

Ok, this might not be real enthusiasm, but a fake smile so I would leave him alone already.

Hooray!  The very long Advent has come to a close for two little kids!

Anna was still pleased with the simplest of gifts and a friendly Grandpa.

The fun continues at Grammy's house with a mountain of gifts and lots of loud cousins... and one over-the-holiday-gatherings-can-we-just-go-home Anna.

And just like that, it's Easter!  In my defense, Easter was unusually early this year.

 Looks like it was chilly...

And maybe a little sunny...? Great family shot, Mom...

And then it was packing time and the 4th of July!

Good-bye Noblesville... It was a quick three and a half years!

I love this picture because I am certain there is one of me... or one of my sisters, we do all look alike... doing the exact same thing with a skirt at this same age.

All moved in back in Greensburg and happy birthday to Anna!!

Anna has no complaints about her new house.

Back to school!  The kids have grown so much... As everyone says, but seriously, where does the time go??!! Each season brings new blessings and new trials, but by God's grace we endure and appreciate it all.
