Ducks and Trucks

Chloie had a super tough week following our latest Indiana adventure.  Thankfully, she seems back to her sweet self with four newly emerged teeth.  I'm hoping it was the teeth and not so much the traveling away from home that caused Chloie so much anxiety.  So anyway, last week was a very trying week with my baby which meant lots of outdoor activities.  We went to a little park with ducks one day, and it was so nice to see her smile.  Swinging and ducks made all of us happy for a good forty minutes or so....

I do realize how gross this seems that my children are laying on the ground next to this duck pond... but there was water from where they had just hosed off the cement... and they were just so into talking to the ducks.  It was a battle I didn't fight this day... and instead took a picture of it.

We had the Jeep worked on over the weekend, and Owen was very excited about the ramps and lifts used to raise the vehicles.  Monday he got out Matt's ramps all by himself and drove his little pedal tractor right up them to change the oil.  He asked for a "wrencher and screwdrive to check the oil."  And when he was finished with the job, walked over to the shop towels, wiped his hands (exactly how Matt would do it) and told me, "I'll take it for a spin to see if it's workin' good now."
