Chloie turned 4 months old this week... Wow, how the time flies. She weighed in at 14 pounds, 14 ounces and 25 inches long, both in the 75th percentile. While her little head continues to lag behind at the 5th percentile. Doctor Hall said she looked perfect in every way, but of course I already knew that. Her biggest downfall, a lot of ear wax.
Owen was ever the big brother. As soon as we got in the room, he demanded to be on the table, and I had to, "check Owen's ears." "Check Owen's eyes." "Check Owen's tummy." We don't play doctor at home, so I guess he remembered this from Chloie's two month appointment. The boy sure has a memory. Just yesterday he eagerly announced that "Daddy wear Uncle Al's shirt" as Matt gets him out of bed wearing the shirt Al borrowed when he was here July 18th.
Chloie is talking up a storm. She's really starting to understand talking back and forth. And sad to say, I'm not her favorite person to talk to... that would be Owen. She just gives him the biggest smiles and coos, and Owen will reply with a huge smile and laugh and exclaim, "Chloie says ahhhh!" Every time.... they just haven't gotten bored with each other yet. They are so precious together. These are the moments that make all the very difficult ones (i.e. Owen's screaming issues, Chloie's grumpy dinner hour) worth it. Two babies in two years definitely is tough at times, but they bring me so much joy that I couldn't image it any other way.
Miss Chloie is absolutely adorable! Can you believe its already been 4 months since she was born?!?
