What a great morning I've had with my babies. Owen is getting more and more independent in his playing. Our wonderful neighbors brought over four big trucks for Owen yesterday, and he has been having a ball with them. He'll push one around. Then push two together. Then put them all in a line. "Tonya, nice." was a phrase we heard a lot yesterday afternoon.
With the help of a modified swaddle Chloie has been taking some regular naps during the day. She seems to like her left arm in and her right arm out... whatever it takes! She's starting to sit in the Bumbo seat for a few minutes at a time, but her favorite thing by far is just being talked to. Owen thinks it's pretty funny when she gets to cooing at him.
Owen and I had a wonderful "swim, tiiiime" this morning. Chloie sat under the porch fan in her bouncy seat sleeping and watching and being so good. Owen swam and swam. He loves to "swim" now that he's started his lessons. For the first time he willingly put his face in the water without crying or choking on the water! "Yay, Owen," as Owen would say. He's a really good cheerleader for himself.
And to top off the day... both kids are still sleeping! Thanks to God for this wonderful day!
