San Diego Vacation

Well, the kids loved the beach, but we're not eager to take off on another trip anytime soon. We had so much fun when the kids were rested, but the traveling left them unusually cranky. Our times spent at the beach were by far the most enjoyable parts of our trip. I only got my camera out a couple of times because... well, I guess just because I was lazy and quit carrying it around.

The kids were super excited to play on the beach. 

Oops, there comes the water!  I guess that's why people wear bathing suits to the beach...

Hmmm... I saw that face a lot on this trip.  Were you tired here?  Or maybe you didn't like the sand on your eye lashes and nose?  Or perhaps too many pictures, little Chloie?

Oh, but I like this face so much better!  She just realized her toes were covered in sand, and she thought that was a hoot!

Owen decided the huge pile of seaweed needed to be climbed!  He was so proud of his accomplishment.
