What a week of ups and downs. The best part of being gone for two weeks is certainly loving your home and routine so much when you get back. However, the worst part of being gone for two weeks is having your two precious babies come down with something yucky that includes fevers and ear infections and coughing and crying and pink eye and snot and snot and more snot.
Despite all the yuck at the Davis house, I did find a few things to make me smile this week.
Miss Chloie is getting more stable with each day. Where she used to fuss for two hands, now she'll swat away your second hand and take off running with one. Though Owen likes to regress to crawling now.
I found that Owen and Chloie are fans of karaoke. This is great news for me. Now I can play singing games and pretend it's to entertain the kids.
And we got to swim in our pool. The kids love playing as long as they can touch the bottom or are clinging to Mom or Dad. I am very worried that Owen may be a swimmer like his mom who hates putting her face in the water. Hopefully swimming lessons will get him back on track. His poor teacher will have her work cut out for her since he's already talking about how he's not going to go and not put his face in the water. I'm just thrilled to start lessons this week...
